How to Send Me a Change

However suits you

Email is easiest. Send the page address, what needs changing and any new words or photos to [email protected]. A screenshot with a circle around the bit that needs fixing works brilliantly.

You can also call or text me on 0495 020 684. For bigger changes, like a new page or a section of the site being reworked, a quick phone or video call helps me understand what you have in mind before I start.

Small changes are usually done within a couple of working days. Larger jobs are quoted first so you know the cost before anything happens.

I send you the link so you can see it live and ask for any tweaks.

Do It Yourself or Hand It Over

Both are fine

Every site I build comes with full editing access in WordPress and Elementor and plenty of owners enjoy making their own small changes. If you would rather not or you are flat out with work, handing updates to me is quicker than learning it on a Sunday night.

Some people do a bit of both, changing prices themselves and sending me anything that involves layout or new pages. If you are making regular edits, it is worth being on a maintenance plan so the site stays backed up and updated behind the scenes too. Plans start at $19 a month.

Fresh Content Helps on Google

Why updates are worth doing

Search engines like websites that are clearly alive and looked after. Old prices, a copyright line from years ago or a service you no longer offer all send the wrong signal to customers and stale pages tend to slip in the results over time.

Adding new service pages or pages for towns you work in is one of the simplest ways to show up for more searches. If that is your goal, my local SEO plans include content advice and on page work as part of the monthly service.

Who can make changes to my website in Launceston?

Website Design Launceston makes changes to websites for Launceston businesses, with every update done by Nick Fritzkowski. Send your change by email, phone or text and it is usually done within a couple of working days. Bigger jobs like new pages are quoted before any work starts.

Website update costs with Website Design Launceston depend on the size of the change and anything beyond a quick fix is quoted before work begins so there are no surprises. Tasmanian businesses making regular changes often pair updates with a maintenance plan, which starts at $19 a month including GST.

Website Design Launceston can update most websites that someone else built in Launceston, especially WordPress sites. I just need admin access to make the changes. If the site is on an unusual platform or badly out of date, I’ll let you know if updating or a redesign makes more sense.

A small website change for a Launceston business is usually done within a couple of working days of receiving the details. Urgent fixes, like a wrong phone number or a broken form, are handled as a priority. Larger updates such as new pages are scheduled once the quote is approved.

Tasmanian businesses should update the website first because it is the reference point Google and customers rely on for prices, hours and services. Facebook posts are great for announcing a change, but they disappear down the feed. Update your Google Business Profile at the same time so everything matches.

New pages help a Launceston website rank on Google when each one covers a real service or location in useful detail. A page for each service and each main town you work in gives Google more reasons to show you. Thin, copied pages don’t help. See local SEO for more.
