Honest prices for small businesses, sole traders and start ups
Affordable web design in Launceston starts with clear prices. My websites start at $880 including GST and you know exactly what you are getting before you say yes.
Cheap to start, good value over time
Affordable doesn’t mean a template slapped together in an afternoon. It means a website that does its job without costing more than your business can comfortably spend. For a sole trader or a new business, that might be one well planned page. For an established team, it might be a few more pages done properly.
I keep costs down by being a one person business. There is no office to pay for, no sales team and no middle layer of account managers. You deal with me and the money goes into the work.
What I won’t do is cut corners that cost you later. Every site still gets a mobile friendly design, proper SEO setup and a free first year of maintenance. Those are the things that stop a cheap website becoming an expensive problem.
All include GST
Each package includes mobile design, a contact form, Google Map, Google Analytics, SEO ready setup, full editing access and a free first year of WordPress maintenance.
$880
$800 plus GST. One scrolling page with everything a small business needs to get found and contacted.
$2200
Multiple pages with room to explain each service and the areas you cover. Best value for most businesses.
from $3300
For shops, bookings and member logins when the site needs to take payments or manage customers.
No surprises after you sign up
The website price covers planning, design, writing help, the build, testing, launch and training. It also covers the first year of updates, backups and security checks.
The only extras are your domain name and hosting. A domain is the address people type and hosting is where the site lives. These are ongoing costs you would have with any web designer and I explain them clearly before anything is booked. The website hosting page has more detail.
After the first year, maintenance is optional and starts at $19 a month. If you’d rather look after updates yourself, that’s fine. See the maintenance plans for what each level includes.
Simple choices that make a difference
Begin with a single page and add more once the work is coming in. Nothing gets wasted.
Real photos from your phone are free and customers trust them more than stock images.
Having your services and areas listed before I start saves time on both sides.
Learn to change prices and opening hours yourself instead of paying for small updates.
For plenty of small businesses, yes
A single page website stacks your key information into one long scrolling page. Services, photos, reviews, a little about you, a map and a contact form. For a sole trader, a market stall, a new cafe or a business moving off a Facebook page, it is often all you need to look credible and start getting enquiries.
Where a single page falls short is search. If you offer lots of services or want to rank in several towns, separate pages give Google more to work with. That is when the Complete Website or adding local SEO later starts to pay for itself.

Website Design Launceston offers affordable web design for small businesses in Launceston, with websites built by Nick Fritzkowski starting at $880 including GST. Every package includes mobile design, SEO ready setup, full editing access and a free first year of WordPress maintenance. Domain and hosting are the only extras.
The cheapest website package from Website Design Launceston is the Single Page Website at $880 including GST, which is $800 plus GST. It suits Tasmanian sole traders and new businesses that need to look professional and take enquiries. It includes the same mobile design, forms and maintenance as the larger packages.
A Launceston website has a few ongoing costs after it is paid for, mainly the domain name renewal and hosting. WordPress maintenance is free for the first year, then optional from $19 a month. There are no lock in contracts. The website hosting page explains these costs.
Launceston web design prices vary because of overheads, team size and how much custom work is involved. Agencies with offices and several staff need to charge more to cover them. As a one person business working from home, I can keep prices lower while still building every site properly.
A cheap website is not bad for a Tamar Valley business as long as it loads quickly, works on phones and is set up properly for Google. Problems come from sites that are thrown together with no plan or left without updates. An affordable site built with care can work very well.
Payment arrangements for a website with Website Design Launceston can be discussed when you get a quote and many projects are split into a deposit and a final payment on completion. If budget is tight, starting with the $880 single page and adding pages later is another way to spread the cost.
Tell me what you need and what you can spend. I’ll suggest the best option and give you a fixed price.
